What we aim for
We design zonus.it toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA. That is a target we work to, not a certificate we bought. If we fall short, we want to hear it.
What is already in the craft
This is the floor, not a press release.
- Semantic headings, landmarks and a skip link to main content.
- Visible focus, buttons that are real buttons, forms with labels.
- Text alternatives on images that carry meaning. Decorative images are silenced.
- Language of the page set to EN or IT when you switch.
- Colour is not the only way we show state. Contrast is kept high on ivory and wine.
- Motion: if you prefer reduced motion, we respect it and drop the heavier animation.
- The cookie banner and legal pages are meant to be completable from the keyboard.
Known limits
Some photography is atmospheric; we still caption what matters. Third-party font files depend on a network request. Embedded future tools (maps, video) will be tested as they arrive — they are not live on this marketing site today.
PDF or app screenshots in the how-to are images of interface; we describe the steps in text next to them.
Browsers and assistive tech
We test on current versions of Safari, Chrome, Firefox and Edge, on desktop and a phone. We check with keyboard only. We do not claim every screen reader on every OS is certified; we will fix what you report.
If something is hard
Email info@zonus.it with the page, the device, and what you were trying to do. Treat it as a product defect. We will answer and we will put it in the queue like any other bug — usually faster, because it blocks a person.
If you need the same information in another format, ask. We will not make you fill a twelve-field form to tell us a contrast issue.
The law
We pay attention to the European Accessibility Act as it applies to services, and to Italian implementing rules as they land. This statement will grow with the app. It is already a promise on the website.
